About us

Broot Bags is a small handmade business based in Honolulu. Everything is sewn by hand from recycled denim, quilts and other found materials.

It all began when I found an old sewing machine on the side of the road. I started out altering clothes from the thrift store, and before long I was turning scraps into bags for my friends and family. Now i'm excited to share them all with you.

Every piece is sourced, cut and sewn by hand from start to finish, so no two are ever quite the same.
